Event: National Motoring Heritage day
Date: Sunday 19th May
This event is an initiative of the Australian Historic Motoring Federation (AHMF) and is an annual event held on the third Sunday in May. The event is supported by state motoring organizations (CMC) and Historic and Heritage motoring Clubs throughout Australia.
Thousands of vehicles from veterans to youngest collectables get about promoting Australia’s motoring heritage to the wider community and showing business and Government the strength of the Australian historic motoring movement.
The concept is for unrestricted use of such vehicles on this day. In Western Australia to comply with the Department of Transport for vehicles on Concessional License Code 404, the event must be recorded in the official run log of an DoT approved Historic Motoring Club. Some Clubs will, of course, organize a specific event on this day.
This event is listed as MARCWA club event.
